The Lasik Procedure

The LASIK Procedure

A corneal flap is created with a laser (Intralase)

The flap is lifted with specialized instruments

The laser is applied, reshaping the stroma (internal layer of cornea), for a few seconds

The flap is replaced to original position, smoothed, and checked for accuracy

You then visit your eye doctor or optometrist the next morning for your one day post-op visit, without wearing glasses or contact lenses for the first time in many years.  We then see you at 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, and 1 year post-op visit schedule which is included in your surgical fee.  Thereafter, we perform annual eye exams to maintain your enhancement or re-treatment policy of the laser center.
